Jennie Ryan has extensive work experience in the telecommunications and banking industries. Jennie started their career in 1988 at IBM, where they held various roles such as Industry Manager, Dealer Manager, and Account Manager. Jennie then moved on to Bellsouth NZ, where they served as the National Sales Manager, leading the development of the sales function in a competitive market. After that, Jennie joined Cogent Communications as the National Sales & Marketing Manager, where they played a key role in building a new Telecommunications business. Jennie also worked at Ventureworks Ltd as a Management Consultant, providing a range of business consulting services.
