Genelle Tierney

Genelle Tierney is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as the Head of HR for Group Customer Operations at Westpac since May 2018. In this strategic position, Genelle collaborates closely with the General Manager to develop talent and workforce design that align with business needs. Previous roles at Westpac include Group Head of HR Service Centre, Head of HR Advice, and Human Resources Relationship Manager, where Genelle focused on delivering HR support, policy advice, and enhancing employee engagement. Prior to Westpac, Genelle held senior HR leadership positions at Employers Mutual Limited, managing people and culture initiatives and fostering strategic business partnerships. Genelle holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Wollongong.
