Liz Henschel

Liz Henschel started their work experience in 2007 as an Editorial Intern for Conscious Choice Magazine, where they wrote articles for the magazine. In the same year, they also worked as a Citizen Journalist for Chi-town Daily News, covering CAPS meetings for District 17. From 2008 to 2015, Liz worked at Northwestern University, first as a Records Assistant and later as a Program Assistant, assisting the Learning & Organization Development Division within Human Resources. In 2015, they joined Harold Washington College as a College Clerical Assistant II in the Humanities & Music department. Currently, Liz is serving as the Director of Operations at WestPoint Financial Group, a position they have held since 2018.

Liz Henschel attended Columbia College Chicago from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Magazine Writing. In July 2019, they also obtained a certification as an Insurance Producer from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
