Ian Tatum

Ian Tatum joined Westridge full-time in 2021 as the director of equity, but he had previously served as a consultant to Westridge in the 2020-2021 school year, leading educational sessions related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for faculty and staff, students, and parents. Tatum relocated from Illinois where he was a restorative practices facilitator and educational consultant. His more than 20 years in education include tenures as an assistant principal, a mentor to teachers and administrators in elementary and middle schools, and a teacher-leader in family and community engagement.
