Joey began his career as a Marine Intelligence Analyst serving in the United States Marine Corps between 2012 and 2021. After nine years of service he then joined WestRock as the Production Scheduler and Operation Excellence lead for WestRock's Corrugated Container facility located in Montgomery, Alabama. As the plant's production scheduler Joey is responsible for the continuous flow and throughput of product to meet customer needs, as well as the inventory, maintenance and up keep of four-million dollars worth of roll stock. As the lead Operational Excellence practitioner for the Montgomery facility Joey is instrumental in the tracking of continuous improvement savings, reduction of waste, the plants "zero-loss" initiative, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), and several other lean and six sigma projects.
