Russell T. Fisher

Russell T. Fisher, CIH, CSP, is an experienced safety professional currently serving as the Safety Manager at WestRock Company since April 2015, overseeing the Health and Safety Management System at a large unionized Pulp and Paperboard Mill. Previous positions include Health and Safety Supervisor at Mead Westvaco and multiple roles at Alcoa, where responsibilities ranged from Industrial Hygiene Manager to Staff Industrial Hygienist. Russell's military background includes serving as a Bioenvironmental Engineer in the Air National Guard and the United States Air Force, along with leadership experience in the United States Army Reserve. Russell holds a Bachelor's degree from The Citadel and a Master's in Public Health from the University of South Carolina, complemented by an Associate of Science degree in Hazardous Materials Management.
