Mirae Laughlin

Mirae Laughlin has a diverse work experience. Mirae worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher at Westside Community Schools starting from August 2020. Before that, they had a role as an Administrative Assistant from November 2019 to January 2022, where they demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Mirae also worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Westside Community Schools from December 2018 to November 2019, providing assistance to special education students.

Prior to their time at Westside Community Schools, Mirae worked at Westbrook Elementary School as a School-Age Teacher from September 2016 to July 2019. Their responsibilities included creating a structured and enjoyable environment for children through various activities.

Mirae also gained experience as a Kindergarten Educational Assistant at Hillside Elementary School from March 2018 to December 2018, supporting classroom needs and building relationships with students. Furthermore, they worked as a Student Teacher at Omaha Public Schools, where they completed their student teacher practicum in a kindergarten classroom.

Mirae's earlier work experience includes being a Toddler Teacher at Westbrook Early Childhood Center from May 2017 to August 2018, as well as roles at Youth Conservation Corps as an Assistant Crew Leader from May 2016 to August 2016, and as a Conservationist from June 2013 to August 2016. During this time, they were responsible for various outdoor conservation and construction tasks.

Finally, Mirae worked as a Server at Sedgebrook from September 2014 to August 2016, where they provided close interaction and support to residents, including emergency response skills such as CPR.

Mirae Laughlin attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2015, Mirae attended Vernon Hills High School. Mirae also holds certifications in GOLD Interrater Reliability, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens, obtained in 2021 and 2020 respectively.
