Joseph Mitchell

Joseph Mitchell is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Associate Director of the Migrant Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program and as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Westside Family Healthcare since November 2017. Prior to this, Joseph worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Maryland Medical Center, gaining expertise in the care of critically ill patients with complex cardiac conditions and advanced medical technologies. Earlier experiences include a Nurse Extern position at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where Joseph developed essential ICU skills, and a role as a Resident Assistant at Salisbury University, fostering academic excellence and community engagement among residents. Joseph holds a Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University.
