Cheryl Porter has a long and varied work history, beginning in 1987 at Wells Human Services as a Receptionist. Cheryl then progressed to DUI Program Secretary and Substance Abuse Program Secretary. In 2003, they began working as an Office Manager for the Cartina Group, where they handled all aspects of support including business and personal, and heavy and complicated travel arrangements. In 2006, they were hired as an Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO of Hollander Sleep Products, LLC. In 2007, they moved to Aldis Inc. as an Office Manager, where they handled accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, as well as monthly credit card reconciliation and expense reporting. From 2008 to 2010, they were employed as an Executive Administrative/Research Assistant at HG Laser Business Solutions. During this time, they also worked as a Virtual Administrative Assistant for NAREN: National At-Risk Education Network. In 2010, they became the owner of CG Consulting, where they handled administrative and personal tasks related to various organizations, businesses, and individuals. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Personal Assistant/Office Manager for Lake Crescent LLC. Finally, from 2018 to 2021, they were a Hostess at Walt Disney World, where they had extensive daily guest interactions and was trained as an Assignor and General Teller. Cheryl is currently employed at Westview Productions LLC as an HR Office Manager.
Cheryl Porter has an extensive educational background. Cheryl began their educational journey in 1985 when they attended Worcester State University, where they studied Psychology. Cheryl then moved on to Shepherd Hill Regional, where they completed their high school education. After that, they attended Edison State Community College from 2010 to 2012 and studied Crime Scene Technology. Cheryl then obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Forensics Focus from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015. Most recently, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bellevue University in 2021. In June 2022, they will obtain their Mental Health First Aid Certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
