Dan Ponder possesses extensive experience in avionics, having held various roles across several companies since the early 1980s. Currently an Avionics Mechanic at SES since April 2014, Dan specializes in avionics systems integration. Prior to SES, Dan served as Lead Avionics Technician at WestWind Technologies, Inc. since December 2004, with expertise on multiple airframes, including UH-60A, AH-64A, and CH-47D, and led numerous prototype modifications. Dan also worked as an Avionics Supervisor at Pemco Aviation Group from March 1982 to December 2004, gaining experience with airframes such as the KC-135 and C-130. Early career began in the United States Air Force from February 1972 to January 1976, where Dan worked as an Electronic Warfare Technician on B-52 and RF-4C aircraft. Dan Ponder's educational background includes attendance at Cullman Area Vocational School and West Point High School in 1971.
