Boyd Skelton

Boyd Skelton currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Technology at Westwood Global Energy Group since November 2019. Boyd co-founded Energent Group in March 2014 and held various management roles at RigNet from June 2009 to March 2014, including Director of Products and Solutions, where Boyd oversaw a $17 million portfolio and generated over $500k in new revenue within the first year of new product launches. Boyd compiled significant acquisition and strategic planning experience during time as Manager of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development and Manager of Planning & Marketing at RigNet. Prior experience includes roles at Houston Angel Network and SMH Private Equity Group as an intern, and various development management positions at FileControl. Boyd holds an MBA from Rice Business and a BA in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
