Ryan Maguire has a strong and extensive work experience in the media industry. Ryan started their career at Cook Media II, L.L.C. as an Executive Producer/Ops Manager from September 1995 to June 1999. Ryan then worked at Fairfield Broadcasting Inc as a Programming and Promotions Director from June 1999 to August 2005. Following that, they joined Clear Channel Radio as a Program Director/Host for Sports Talk 1050 WTKA-AM from August 2005 to August 2006.
Next, they joined Entercom, where they held two roles. From August 2006 to January 2009, they served as the Program Director for Sports Radio 1250 WSSP-AM. Then, from January 2009 to November 2012, they worked as the Program Director for 610 Sports Radio KCSP-AM.
Ryan later joined CBS Radio as the Program Director for Sports Radio 93.7 "The Fan" KDKA-FM from November 2012 to May 2015. Ryan then became the Program Director for Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM from May 2015 to March 2018.
After that, they joined Bonneville International as the Director of News and Programming for KIRO Radio 97.3 FM from March 2018 to August 2019. During this time, their achievements included leading the station to be Seattle's top revenue radio station and capturing multiple awards.
In 2020, they had two roles. Firstly, they worked as a Freelance Columnist at Barrett Media from September 2020 to February 2022, where they curated content and also provided talent coaching and consulting. Secondly, they worked as a Producer at SpokenLayer, a digital audio startup, from March 2020 to November 2020. Here, they managed the production of various podcasts and ensured timely delivery.
Ryan then joined Good Karma Brands as the Director of Content for Good Karma Brands Milwaukee from March 2022 to January 2023. In this role, they oversaw content and operations for multiple outlets and assisted in the development of a new outlet.
Currently, Ryan Maguire is working at Westwood One as the Vice President of Affiliate Sales, Sports, starting from April 2023.
Ryan Maguire attended Grand Valley State University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, General.
