Ted Emrich

Ted Emrich is an experienced play-by-play announcer currently working at ESPN since November 2015, covering college football, college basketball, and high school basketball. Emrich also serves as a play-by-play announcer for Bally Sports Southwest, Bally Sports Oklahoma, and Bally Sports New Orleans, where responsibilities include calling high school football and baseball games and filling in for Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans broadcasts. Additionally, Emrich has been with Westwood One since July 2012, providing play-by-play for NFL and college sports, as well as the Olympics. Previous experience includes anchoring updates for ESPN Radio, hosting segments for the Texas Longhorn Radio Network, and calling high school sports for various networks. Emrich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electronic News from the University of North Texas.
