Morgan D. Thornton

Morgan D. Thornton has diverse work experience in the legal field. They began their career as a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Legal Intern at the Bexar County Criminal District Courts Administration. They then served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bexar County District Attorney's Office for a brief period in 2016. Later in 2016, they became In-House Counsel at the Bexar Appraisal District. In 2019, they joined Stewart Law Group PLLC as an Associate Attorney and held this position until 2021 when they moved to Macdonald Devin Madden Kenefick & Harris, P.C. as an Associate Attorney. Currently, in 2022, they serve as an Associate Corporate Counsel at Westwood Professional Services.

Morgan D. Thornton obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Houston, where they attended from 2008 to 2011. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at St. Mary's University, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Law. This degree was obtained between the years 2012 and 2015.
