Sneha Guchhait

Sneha Guchhait has a diverse range of work experience. Sneha started their career at Usha Martin Limited as an Electrical Engineer Trainee, where they gained knowledge about power substations, circuit breakers, relays, and transformer ratings. Sneha then moved on to TATA Power, where they continued as an Electrical Engineer Trainee and expanded their understanding of protective schemes for transformers, motors, and generators. Sneha also gained knowledge about power flow, substation operations, and switch yards.

After that, Sneha worked at Accenture as an Application Development Analyst. During their time there, they contributed to a telecom project for Vodafone and successfully automated daily manual tasks, reducing manual efforts by 60%. Sneha also conducted knowledge transfer sessions for new joiners and played a critical role in analyzing production incidents and fixing bugs.

Sneha's next professional venture was at Michigan Technological University, where they served as a Grader in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. In this role, they assessed and graded assignments and exams for students in the department.

Sneha then joined Honeywell UOP as a Graduate Research Assistant, working on a project that focused on the life cycle assessment of waste plastic processes. Sneha utilized Sima Pro to evaluate the environmental impact of mechanical and chemical recycling methods for plastic resins production. Sneha also conducted a comparative analysis of different pyrolysis techniques and assessed their environmental impact.

Currently, Sneha is employed at Westwood Professional Services. Sneha started as an Electrical Engineering Intern and later transitioned to the role of Electrical Graduate Engineer.
