Tanner Shaw

Tanner Shaw has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and environmental sectors. Tanner started their career at Atlantic Coast Consulting as an Environmental Technician, where they gained experience in field activities such as groundwater and surface water sampling, monitoring well installation, and landfill gas extraction. Tanner also conducted site inspections, collected data, and assisted with regulatory research. After that, they worked at Hussey Gay Bell as a Civil Engineering Technician, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create construction design documents for various projects, including water/wastewater systems and land development. Tanner also helped with stormwater design and calculation. Currently, Tanner is working at Westwood Professional Services as a Graduate Engineer, providing support to licensed Civil Engineers on the Land Development team. Their responsibilities include preparing design drawings, grading surfaces, and gaining familiarity with company practices and local agency codes. Tanner has developed proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and has worked on projects of varying sizes.

Tanner Shaw obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing their education from 2014 to 2018.
