Michael Wong

Michael Wong is a highly experienced Principal ITS Engineer currently working at WSP, focusing on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), power, traffic signals, communications, and lighting. With a career spanning over 15 years, Michael has held senior roles at GHD as a Technical Director specializing in electrical and ITS services for roads, highways, and urban development, and at SMEC as an Associate Engineer, where responsibilities included mentoring and certification for various electrical and communication projects. Previous positions also include Senior Electrical Engineer at Calibre, where project management and electrical design expertise were paramount, and various engineering roles across reputable firms such as the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Hyder Consulting, and Arup, where Michael developed skills in electrical design, project management, and construction supervision.
