William Colgan

William Colgan is a Geotechnical Project Engineer at Westwood Professional Services since October 2022, responsible for managing projects and field investigations, as well as conducting geotechnical data analysis. Previous experience includes roles as a Geotechnical Staff Engineer at the same company and as a Junior Geologist at Valdez Creek Mining Co, where duties involved reconnaissance mapping, geochemical sampling, and supervision of contractors in challenging field conditions. William Colgan's foundational experience also includes part-time work at the Mines Museum of Earth and Science. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Colorado School of Mines, along with a Graduate Certificate in GIS and Geoinformatics currently in pursuit.
