Scott Diffenderfer

Scott Diffenderfer is a seasoned arborist with extensive experience in urban forestry and tree care management. Currently serving as Lead Urban Forestry Consultant at Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. since April 2024, Scott has also held positions including Consultant with The Arborist Consulting Group, Urban Arborist for the Town of Vienna, VA Government, and Consulting Arborist at Mead Tree & Turf Care Inc. Prior roles include Forest Operations Safety Advisor at Safety Management Group and Senior Arborist/Urban Forester at Fairfax County Park Authority. Scott's background features over 35 years of expertise in commercial and residential tree care, supported by a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management from West Virginia University. Scott holds multiple certifications, including ISA Certified Municipal and Utility Arborist and Licensed Forester.
