Venkatesan Pillai

Venkatesan Pillai currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at WetStone Technologies since March 2023. Pillai has extensive experience in academia and industry, holding multiple positions at Collin College, including Professor and Instructor in IS Cybersecurity Engineering since August 2017 and serving as an Adjunct Professor at Richland College and Way11 Cybersecurity. Pillai also practices cybersecurity in the aerospace sector and previously worked at Walmart as a Senior Manager of Information Security and at Cognizant as a Senior Manager. Pillai began a career in cybersecurity as a Senior Network Engineer at Infosys. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
