Angela "Lola" Lo

Angela "Lola" Lo has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Angela "Lola" started working at Blabbelon LLC in February 2012 as a Concept Artist and stayed there until July 2012. Angela "Lola" then joined GameView DeNA Studios in July 2012 as a Junior Artist, providing event and production support. In October 2012, they were promoted to Primary Lead Artist at the same company and worked until April 2013. Angela then briefly worked as a Game Artist at WeMade Entertainment USA, Inc. from July 2013 to August 2013. In 2014, they joined MZ as a Mobile Marketing Artist and stayed until May 2015, when they moved to the role of Senior Marketing Artist until March 2016. Later in March 2016, they transitioned to the role of UI/UX Designer and worked until September 2017. In 2018, Angela joined The Center for Black Excellence as a Design Consultant in February. Later in the same year, they joined WeVideo as a Product Designer in December. Angela "Lola" was subsequently promoted to Senior Product Designer in April 2022.

Angela "Lola" Lo started their education at San Jose State University in 2006 and completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Animation & Illustration in 2014.

In addition to their degree, Lola has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2016, they completed the "Logo Trend Report 2016-2017" course at Lynda.com. Following that, in 2017, they completed the "Design Thinking: Implementing the Process" course at Lynda.com. Next, in 2018, Lola completed two courses at Lynda.com, namely "UX Foundations: Research" and "UX Design: 4 Ideation."

In 2020, Lola obtained the "Communication & Storytelling" certification from LinkedIn. Continuing their professional development in the field, they also completed the "UX Foundations: Usability Testing" course at LinkedIn in 2020.

Lola further enhanced their expertise in User Experience (UX) design by obtaining two certifications from the Nielsen Norman Group. Angela "Lola" received the "UX Certificate" in February 2021 and achieved the "UX Master Certificate" in June 2022.
