Jason Melville serves as the Head of Franchise, Legal at WeWork, having joined the company in March 2018. In this role, Jason leads legal efforts for franchises and international joint ventures, overseeing a substantial portion of WeWork's global footprint. Prior to this position, Jason managed a team as Director of Global Legal Services and served as Senior Counsel for construction and supply chain matters, providing critical legal support to various operational teams. Before WeWork, Jason held positions at GE Power as Senior Commercial Counsel and Contract Manager, focusing on complex transactions and contracts for power generation projects. Jason also has experience in civil litigation and commercial law from roles at Redmond Law PLLC and other legal internships. Jason holds a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Chinese from Union College.
