Mike Rochelle has over two decades of experience in environmental management and wildlife biology, primarily with Weyerhaeuser since June 2002. Currently serving as the Manager of Western Environmental Research and Operational Support, Mike oversees programs related to forest hydrology, slope stability, aquatic biology, wildlife biology, and biodiversity, ensuring these efforts align with business objectives and sustainability goals. Previously, Mike held roles as Environmental Operational Support Manager, Wildlife Program Manager, and Wildlife Biologist, contributing to regulatory compliance and third-party sustainability certification across millions of acres in the western United States. Earlier career positions included biologist and forester roles with the Washington Department of Natural Resources and a commercial truck driver position. Mike holds a BS and MS in Zoology from Washington State University and completed the Ag Forestry Leadership Class 34.
