Matthew McDonald

Matthew McDonald is a dedicated individual with diverse experience spanning academia and various service industries. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, since March 2025, Matthew assists students in an introductory SQL/database course, troubleshooting queries and collaborating with faculty to enhance educational outcomes. Since September 2022, Matthew has also been a Student Worker at HES Facilities Management, where responsibilities include repairing plumbing issues. Previous roles include a Petcare Associate at PetSmart, focusing on the health of in-store pets and customer education, a Service Specialist at Lucky Supermarkets, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and a Back of House/Dishwashing employee at Savory Kitchen. Matthew is pursuing a degree at the University of Nevada, Reno, building on prior education from Mission College and Piedmont Hills High School.
