Javarian Jerkins

Javarian Jerkins is currently a Student Worker at Virginia State University, where responsibilities include mentoring underclassmen, conducting one-on-one sessions on Java projects, and communicating weekly newsletters to students. As a Research Assistant, Javarian studied Resistive Random Access Memory and gained skills in schematic diagram creation and scientific journal construction. A Summer Research Intern, Javarian developed a Bluetooth-controlled rover, taught classes on memristors, and mentored incoming freshmen while providing tutoring in C++ and Precalculus. Previous experience as a Sales Associate at Timberland involved assisting with merchandise sales and maintaining product presentation. Javarian is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Virginia State University, expected to graduate in May 2024.
