Destiny Cruz is an experienced organizing professional currently serving as the NYC Organizing Manager for the Working Families Party since October 2021. Previously, Cruz worked as a Field Representative and Caseworker for the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities included developing relationships with constituents and managing federal inquiries on various issues. Cruz also held positions as Bronx Deputy Field Director for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress, where significant voter turnout increases were achieved, and as Special Projects Coordinator for New York State Assembly Member Victor Pichardo. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society from John Jay College and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution. Skills encompass community organizing, relationship management, and legislative advocacy.
