Laura Nguyen

Laura Nguyen currently serves as a Southern California Organizer for the Working Families Party, a position held since June 2023. Previously, in a role with Summit Education Services from June 2022 to November 2023, Laura was both a Writing Tutor and an Academic Counselor and Special Projects Assistant, specializing in creative writing and providing guidance on academic applications. Prior experience includes a California Organizing Intern position with Reproductive Freedom for All, where advocacy efforts were focused on reproductive rights, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant role at the University of California, Berkeley, working on research related to reproductive justice. Additional internships include campaign work with the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts and involvement in arms trafficking investigations with Global Exchange. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
