Roger Burks

Roger Burks has an extensive work experience in the finance and consulting industry. Roger currently serves as the Chairman and Founder of WG Consulting, LLC, where they have been since 2012. Roger previously held the position of Executive Managing Director/CEO Board Member at WG Consulting, where they worked from 2012 to 2022.

Before WG Consulting, Roger was the Founder and Managing Partner of SVG Advisors from 2008 to 2011, where they provided financial advisory services and assisted companies in buying and selling their businesses. Prior to that, they served as the CFO and Board Member of Superior Offshore from 2006 to 2008, where they led successful debt raises and an IPO.

Roger also co-founded a financial, SOX, and technology-based consulting firm in 2002, serving as the Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and Board Member until 2006. Their career began at Deloitte (formerly Touche Ross) in 1982, where they started as an Audit Partner and later became the Partner in Charge Energy for Gulf Coast. Roger primarily served energy, manufacturing, and oil field service companies throughout their tenure at Deloitte, which ended in 2002.

Roger Burks completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) from 1978 to 1981. In January 1986, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
