Matthew Primmer

Matthew Primmer is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in maritime and coastal engineering. Currently serving as Principal Maritime Engineer at WGA since May 2023, Matthew also holds the position of Principal Consultant at Wavelength since January 2020, working on various projects for notable clients including Darwin Port, Fremantle Ports, and Rio Tinto. Previous roles include Planning & Asset Development Manager at Port of Melbourne and Engineering Manager at Port of Hastings Development Authority, among others. Matthew's career spans over two decades, with significant positions at firms such as Ausenco, Aurecon, and BMT JFA Consultants. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil & Coastal Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Plymouth.
