Nicole Velez

Nicole Velez (Jaques) is a seasoned media professional currently serving as Senior Producer for GBH KIDS since January 2017, overseeing several animated series, including Pinkalicious & Peterrific and Molly of Denali. Responsibilities include managing funding proposals, production processes, and creative development, along with leading cross-collaboration among internal teams and external partners. Previously, Nicole held roles at The Walt Disney Company, contributing to the programming of notable series such as PJ Masks and Vampirina, and supported the EVP of Disney Junior. With experience as both an intern and in production roles at various media organizations, Nicole graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mediated Communications, achieving Magna Cum Laude status.
