Teresa Thomas, CPA, CGMA has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Teresa is currently the owner of Ridge CFO LLC, where they provide Fractional CFO services tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer of WGI, Inc., a privately-held organization in the aerospace and defense industry. In this role, they directed various financial activities such as treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, and regulatory reporting. Before WGI, Teresa worked as a Consultant and Controller at Norwood Development Group, where they managed financial management and reporting, human resources, insurance, and strategic planning for a real estate development company. Teresa also served as the Chief Financial Officer at The Pecoy Group, overseeing financial activities for a construction company. Teresa's previous experience includes working as an Assistant Controller at Cascades, where they were responsible for cost accounting, bank reconciliation, and monthly management reporting. Teresa also served as the Controller for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, managing the accounting department, cash management, budgeting, financial reporting, and external audits. Teresa Thomas, CPA, CGMA obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs between 2005 and 2007. Teresa also holds additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Colorado, as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
