Mark Retherford

Mark Retherford is a licensed architect with extensive experience in residential product design and site planning. Currently serving as Principal and Senior Designer at William Hezmalhalch Architects since October 2008, Mark previously held the position of Vice President of Architecture and Planning at SummerHill Homes from October 2004 to August 2008, overseeing all aspects of residential design for a mid-sized builder in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to that, Mark was a Principal at Dahlin Group from February 1984 to September 2004, where responsibilities included managing teams and serving as the primary contact for major homebuilders in Northern California and Nevada. Mark Retherford earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho, completing the program from 1977 to 1982.
