Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People
Adam H. Dalgleish is a Senior Policy Analyst at Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People since July 2022, previously holding similar positions at the Ministry of Health New Zealand from October 2020 to August 2022. Adam has also served as a Lecturer at Massey University and been a Doctoral Student and Research Assistant at The University of Auckland. With a strong academic background, Adam holds a PhD in Applied Ethics & Refugee Policy from The University of Auckland and a Visiting Research Fellowship at the University of Oxford. Adam's contributions to critical thinking are notable, with publications in prestigious journals. As President of Effective Altruism Auckland, Adam revitalized the organization, significantly increasing its membership and campus presence.

Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People is a new ministry set up to give a voice to the disabled community. The work we will do in partnership with the community and Māori, will transform the lives of many New Zealanders.
