Kristen Calabrese is currently the Director of Development at Wharton Center for Performing Arts. With extensive experience in fundraising, grant writing, and volunteer management, Kristen has a proven track record of securing major gifts and managing successful capital campaigns. Prior to their current role, Kristen held various development positions at Michigan State University and YAI National Institute for People with Disabilities. Kristen also has a strong background in media buying from their time at Mediaedge:CIA, LLC. Kristen holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Public Relations from Ithaca College.

The Center is fortunate to hire artists to create new works in jazz, dance, and classical music that make their world debut at Wharton Center.
