Kandace Battle is a Mechanical Engineering student at Howard University, expected to graduate in 2026. Currently serving as the Communications Department Director and Graphic Designer for the College of Engineering and Architecture Student Council, Kandace additionally holds positions as a Sales Associate at Away and Project Engineering Intern at Wharton-Smith, Inc. Prior experience includes roles such as Public Relations Chair for the ASME Howard University Chapter, Retail Associate at Abercrombie & Fitch Co., Team Member at Shake Shack, and First Year Intern at HBCU First, where Kandace engaged with industry professionals. Kandace also demonstrated leadership as President of the Charmettes Teen Club of Orlando, overseeing monthly meetings and community service initiatives, and served as Treasurer of the Technology Student Association, managing chapter finances. Throughout involvement with the Black Student Union, Kandace contributed to events promoting cultural diversity and awareness.
