Megan Short is an accomplished broadcast journalist with extensive experience in television news production. Currently serving as an Executive Producer at WHAS-TV since May 2015, Megan has also held the role of Senior Producer, overseeing the production of the 11:00pm newscast and special projects, including sports specials and coverage of the Kentucky Derby. In addition to producing newscasts, Megan has been instrumental in training new employees and managing the station's internship program. Previously, Megan worked at WBKO as a Producer, where responsibilities included producing the 6:00 and 10:00 newscasts and managing content for the station's website and social media. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Western Kentucky University, obtained in 2015.
