Vivek Gurusamy

Vivek Gurusamy has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Vivek is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at What Do You Meme? starting from April 2022. Prior to this, Vivek worked as the Vice President Global Supply Chain Planning at Trident Seafoods from March 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Trident Seafoods, Vivek founded DataDots Consulting in 2018. As the Founder, they designed and deployed the Demand Planning and S&OP process for a UK CPG company and implemented Oracle Supply/Inventory Planning solutions for a Health Supplements company.

From October 2014 to June 2018, Vivek worked at The Nature's Bounty Co. Vivek held the positions of Senior Director S&OP and Projects, where they designed and deployed the Demand planning process for a multi-channel business, and Director Demand Planning and BI, where they led the implementation of a customized Oracle Demand planning solution.

Prior to their roles at The Nature's Bounty Co., Vivek worked at Accenture as an Engagement Manager from May 2010 to September 2014. During their tenure, they played a key role in transforming supply chains, implementing S&OP processes, and leading demand and supply planning projects across various industries.

Before joining Accenture, Vivek worked at Kraft Foods (Cadbury acquisition) as a Category Planner, Chocolate Beverages from November 2009 to April 2010. In this role, they led the category S&OP process, integrated demand plans into production plans, and facilitated change initiatives.

Vivek's earlier experience includes working at Cadbury India Limited as a Logistics & Customer Operations Manager, North, Supply Chain from May 2007 to November 2009 and at Larsen & Toubro as an Executive Engineer from 2003 to 2005.

Vivek Gurusamy has a PGDM degree in Operations Management from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research. Prior to that, they obtained their B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
