Tabassum Aktar

Tabassum Aktar is a Foundation Inventor at ?What If! Innovation since June 2021, bringing extensive experience in the design and fabrication sectors. Previously, Tabassum served as a Fabricator at Echo House Ltd from August 2020 to May 2021, where skills in marketing, advanced workshop techniques, and familiarity with CAM machinery were developed while working on projects for prominent luxury brands. A notable appearance as a competitor on Channel 4's "The Fantastical Factory of Curious Craft" in May 2020 showcased Tabassum's creative talents. An internship at Foster + Partners between November 2019 and April 2020 led to improved research and design abilities. Additionally, Tabassum held roles at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Colebrook Bosson Saunders, and Harcourt Leather, further enhancing product design and management skills. Tabassum earned a degree in Product and Furniture Design from Kingston University in 2019.
