Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown has over 17 years of experience in the field of IT security and administration. Jeff most recently worked as an Information Security Analyst at Whatcom Educational Credit Union, where they were responsible for the development and administration of IT security and risk-based monitoring systems. Prior to that, they served as an Information Security Administrator at School Specialty, Inc. and as a Windows System Admin/Support Specialist at Premier Agendas, Inc. Jeff has a strong background in systems administration, with expertise in Windows environments.

Jeff Brown completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature at Western Washington University from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they pursued Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Maryland from 1991 to 1993, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In addition to their formal education, Jeff has acquired several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in May 2023, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from (ISC)² in January 2020, and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in December 2021.
