Jim Ostendorff

Jim Ostendorff has over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology. Since 2021, they have been working as an Information Technology Help Desk Manager at Whatcom Educational Credit Union-WECU, where they lead a team of 4 Support Technicians and collaborates with subject matter experts to document procedures and develop training materials. In their previous role as a VP, Senior IT Business Analyst at Peoples Bank from 2006 to 2021, they were responsible for designing and implementing effective solutions in a collaborative environment. Jim also played a pivotal role in implementing DocuSign integration and a new interactive personal financial statement. Jim Ostendorff obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Western Washington University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. In 2019, they completed the Executive Development Program in Banking and Financial Support Services at the Washington Bankers Association. Jim also holds additional certifications, including a CompTIA A+ ce Certification obtained in May 2023 and a CBCM Certified Banking Cybersecurity Manager obtained in May 2016 from Secure Banking Solutions, LLC.
