Nicole Jackson

Nicole Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Most recently, they worked as a Business Process Analyst at Whatcom Educational Credit Union-WECU®. Prior to that, they were a Small Business Owner of Nicole Jackson Bodywork, LLC, where they provided clients with hands-on bodywork, movement education, and dialogue. Nicole also served as a Volunteer Committee Member at Hellerwork International, where they played a key role in transitioning events from in-person to virtual and created an automated payment and registration process.

Before their self-employment, Nicole was a Program Manager at Greenroads International, where they contributed to the development and implementation of environmental education and certification products. Nicole also implemented Salesforce CRM for the customer-facing team and conducted training sessions at industry conferences.

In addition, Nicole volunteered as a Parent Support Group Facilitator at PEPS (Program for Early Parent Support), where they facilitated support groups for parents of newborns. Nicole gained valuable experience in empathetic group leadership and community-building.

Nicole Jackson's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at Northwestern University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Studies in 2001. In 2003, Nicole attended the US Navy Nuclear Power School, where they obtained a qualification as a Nuclear Engineer. After completing their time in the Navy, Nicole pursued further education and enrolled at Old Dominion University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Master's degree in Engineering Management.

In 2017, Nicole decided to pursue a different field and studied at the Universal College of Healing Arts. From 2017 to 2019, they obtained a Hellerwork Structural Integration Certification, becoming a Board Certified Structural Integrator. Nicole's recent educational experience includes attending the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2021, where they completed the Stanford Ignite program, specializing in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

In addition to their formal education, Nicole has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2022, they became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance. In 2023, Nicole obtained the certifications of Certified Lean Practitioner from the Six Sigma Global Institute and Six Sigma Master Black Belt from the International Six Sigma Institute™.
