Kulbhushan Rana

Kulbhushan Rana is currently the Vice President, Solutions at Whatfix. Prior to this, they were with Huawei Technologies India from January 2016 to October 2019, where they served as Vice President of Engineering, Product & Solutions Platform Development Dept R&D. In this role, they led Huawei's engineering efforts in LFN Network Foundation Open Source (ONAP, FD.io, PNDA). Kulbhushan also built platforms for NW mgmt visualization, NW analytics, and NW data collection/data ingestion.

From July 2010 to January 2016, Kulbhushan worked at Huawei Technologies as the Director of Engineering and Leader of the Fixed NW OSS R&D. In this role, they were responsible for E2E delivery, E2E operations, and E2E product quality mgmt for performance products in the Network OSS domain. This included defining product/solution roadmaps in cooperation with PLM, R&D E2E delivery planning including resource/cost planning, building the right team and managing cross functional teams, defining and implementing R&D development processes and quality assurance strategy, release strategy, identifying new tools & methodologies to improve E2E R&D development quality & efficiency, pre-sales support such as high level technical customer communication and supporting RFPs, product demonstrations and POCs, post sales support such as LMT management and training service team, etc.

Kulbhushan then went on to complete a Master of Science in Software Systems at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
