Elaine Chen

Elaine Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development, business operations, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving in a role focused on Categories & Expansion at Whatnot since September 2022, Elaine co-founded RompHim in January 2017, a notable retail apparel brand recognized for its viral Kickstarter campaign that raised over $350K in one week. Previous experience includes positions at Faire in product and business operations from July 2019 to August 2022, and a longstanding career at JPMorgan Chase & Co., advancing to Vice President in the Corporate & Investment Bank division. Elaine holds an MBA and an MS in Design Innovation from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where notable achievements include receiving the Breed Prize for exemplary potential in technical entrepreneurship and leadership.
