Laura Weaver

Laura Weaver is an iOS Engineer and PEM for User Utilities at Whatnot who has previous experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Slack and a Software Engineer at Yelp. Laura got their start in the tech industry as a Hacker in Residence at Hack Reactor where they mentored admitted students on technical curriculum and conducted technical interviews of applicants to the advanced software engineering program. Prior to their work in tech, Laura was a Court Procedures Clerk at Goodwin Procter LLP and a Research Assistant and Editor at the University of Kansas. Laura's first internship was in finance and marketing at Venture Business Research.

Laura Weaver completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global and International Studies. Laura also participated in study abroad programs at Yonsei University and the University of Hong Kong, where they studied economics and political economy, respectively. In addition, Laura Weaver is B1+ certified in French Language and Literature from the Ecole l'Etoile Language Institute. Finally, Laura Weaver is a member of Hack Reactor's Cohort 33.
