Jackson R. currently serves as a Morning News Anchor and Multimedia Journalist at WHBF-TV since June 2023. Prior to this role, Jackson was a Sports News Producer at News 3 WIU, where responsibilities included organizing and creating timely sports stories for live television. Jackson also anchored news for a university-run station and held various positions within the Western Illinois University community, including Director and Camera Specialist for Western Illinois Sports on ESPN+, and Head of Urban Music and Radio Host at 88.3 The Dog - WIU-FM. Additional experience includes customer service roles at AutoZone, Heritage Cadillac, and HealthTrack Sports Wellness, as well as technical support at Techzone and videography at Glenbard East High School. Jackson earned a degree in Broadcasting and Journalism from Western Illinois University in 2023 and previously studied Mass Media and Television Production at Illinois State University and the College of DuPage.
