Andy Gilroy is a highly experienced IT professional with a career spanning over three decades, currently serving as a Group IT Infrastructure Engineer at Wheatley Group since September 2009. In this role, Andy contributes to key desktop and server virtualization projects using technologies such as VMware and Cisco UCS. Prior experiences include various leadership positions at Glasgow Housing Association, where responsibilities encompassed project management, network infrastructure support, and team management. With a foundational background in IT support and hardware maintenance from previous roles at Glasgow City Council and Altor Computers PLC, Andy possesses a comprehensive skill set in system design, technical support, and infrastructure management, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde.
