Mary Mills serves as the Director of Exhibitions and Collections at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center since July 2022. Concurrently, Mary holds the position of Historic Glass Specialist at AECOM from October 2013, where responsibilities include researching and interpreting glass artifacts from the I-95 Project in Philadelphia, with a recent promotion to manager of material specialists. Mary has been an Adjunct Lecturer at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library since 1995, educating graduate students in American decorative arts. Additionally, Mary has taught courses as Adjunct Faculty at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and Sotheby's Institute of Art, focusing on glass history and technology. Formerly the Education Programs Manager at The Corning Museum of Glass, Mary provided crucial educational content and interpretation related to glass. Mary holds a Master's Degree in Decorative Arts/Glass/Museum Studies from the Winterthur Program and an MA in Applied History from Appalachian State University, among other educational qualifications.
