Guest Lecturer at Wheaton College

Sarah Beth Woods is an experienced educator in the field of art, currently serving as a Guest Lecturer at Wheaton College since September 2020, and previously in the same role from August 2015 to May 2017, where courses taught included Drawing I, Art Survey, and Sculpture I. Additional teaching experience includes being an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Christian College, instructing courses in Beginning and Intermediate Painting and Figure Drawing. Sarah Beth Woods also served as a JTerm Instructor at Smith College, focusing on the intersection of craft and contemporary art. Earlier experience includes teaching art at Ashburn Lutheran School and internships at Lisa Boyle Gallery and with infamous artist Winston Smith. Academically, Sarah Beth Woods holds a Master of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from University College London, a Berlin Summer Program degree in Art Film/Performance from Goldsmiths, University of London, an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BFA in Painting from Northern Illinois University.
