Greg Carter has over 30 years of experience in engineering roles in the broadcasting industry. Greg is currently serving as the Chief Engineer at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council since August 2018. Prior to this, they worked at WHEC-TV 10 NBC for over 20 years, starting as the Engineering Manager in March 1997 and eventually becoming the Director of Engineering in April 2014. Before joining WHEC-TV, they worked at WSYT as the Assistant Chief Engineer from September 1990 to March 1997.
Greg Carter has a degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, they hold a Masters in Business and Policy from SUNY Empire State College.
