Jamie Yellen has a diverse range of work experience. Jamie started their career as a Production Management Intern at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2008. Jamie later worked as an Assistant Manager at Rosina Gourmet, where they managed daily store operations and trained new employees. Jamie then served as an After School Instructor at Mary McDowell Friends School, working with learning disabled students in grades K-8. Jamie also worked as an External Relations and Event Coordinator at New York Math Circle, where they facilitated and executed organizational events. Jamie gained experience as an External Relations Intern at Rebel Earth Films, where they developed marketing strategies and co-produced a short film. Jamie then worked as a Director of Administration & Operations at Ballon Stoll Bader & Nadler PC, leading the restructuring of internal functions. Additionally, they worked as a Managing Editor at Catalyst Review Leading Creative Economies, where they managed project and process management. Jamie also worked as a Principal Consultant at IIN Development Corp., focusing on sustainable development and community programs. Currently, they are working as a Program Director Education and Youth Development at WHEDCo, managing staff and running an after-school program for K-8 students.

Jamie Yellen holds a Master of Professional Studies degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute, which was attained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to this, Jamie completed a Continuing Education program in Management at NYU- SCPS in 2011. In 2005, Jamie graduated from Goucher College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater & Studio Art. Additionally, Jamie obtained a High School Diploma from Poly Prep in 2005. In terms of certifications, Jamie obtained a Notary Public certification from the NYS Department of State in September 2011.
